ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare World War II United States SACO ROGER GROUP Patch Considered the First SEAL Teams.


Patch was originally owned by SACO/ROGER Veteran Gene Terres. Sold to Special Unit Insignia Collector and Historian Les Hughes Who then sold it to collector David Kharab, who in turn sold it to Putnam Green, whose estate it recently came from. 

The patch is extremely rare, one of the most rare of WWII USN SACO patches. 

VINTAGE: World War II.

SIZE: Patch (image 2): 4-1/4" in height x 4-1/4" in width. Patch is 3-5/8" in height x 2-5/8" in width

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads. photo, paper, etc.
