ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare LARGE format World War II graduation book for the Women Aircraft Instrument Technicians in the Civilian Training Program of the United States Army Air Forces Air Service Command. The book offers a synopsis of the experiences of Class 12-W, which graduated in May 1943. There are some great photos and short bios of the graduates. It bears the logo of the Chicago School of Aircraft on the cover and is in incredible condition.

Some collections are lucky enough to have the shoulder patch from this school in it, a book like this really adds a personal touch to that very rare insignia.

VINTAGE: Published in 1943.

SIZE: 8 pages; approximately 11-1/4" in height and 8-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag folder/cover; paper.
