ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare World War I circa 1917 - 1918 USCG Coast Guard CPO Chief Petty Officer Hat Badge. 

VINTAGE: World War I. Circa 1917 - 1918.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt & Silvered Nickel. Hand formed & applied Rope Pinned Construction.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under Tiffany Style Catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Coast Guard collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. KBEP23 LDIEX09/06/23 SDIEX10/13/24

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Gilt & Silvered Nickel, Most of the plating is worn or polished off this Salty Badge. Overall, it is in very fine condition.
