ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare Early 1930's Case for the Takashimaya Flat Lens Pilot Goggles.  

Based on official Imperial Japanese Air Force Goggles Worn circa 1930 - 1937, These Goggle were available private purchase until circa 1940.

VINTAGE: Early 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-5/8" in height x 3-7/8" in width Bottom of the case: 1-3/4" x 3-7/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather case, nickel, steel.

ATTACHMENT: Button.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Japanese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEV19 LDIEX07/28/22

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The case shows minor to moderate wear, and button is working condition, and top left side leather has small damage, also the bottom of the case on left side is curled up but overall, very fine condition.
