ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare circa 1944 - 1945 SAAF SALM SUID AFRIKAANSE LUG MAG South African Air Force No 8 Advanced Repair Depot Badge with wing on Shield, and 8 on the center, and Wording on S.A.A.F. and A.R.D and WE FIT TO F??T.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944 - 1945.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass with silver plating.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with circular saddle.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign Militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. NBGN07 LDGEX09/19/24

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows minor wear, and tiny enamel chips on shield (top of left side corner), overall, it is in very fine condition.
