ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare 1924 Polish Pilot's Association Member Pilot Photo ID Booklet, Legitymacja of Wiktor Rodziewicz. Wiktor Rodziewicz Also went on to fly far the Polish Air Force in Exile during the Battle of Britain and After.

The Association of Polish Pilots was established in Poznań on the initiative of former military pilots, demobilized after the end of hostilities related to the Polish-Soviet War . On September 15, 1922, an organizational meeting of the ZLP was held in Poznań, during which the statute of the organization and its management board were elected. The most important achievements in the activities of ZLP include: building an aircraft factory ( Wielkopolska Wytwornia Samolotow Samolot ) at the Poznań airport in Ławica in 1923, organizing the Civil Pilot School in Poznań (1925), organizing the first glider competition in Poland in Białka (1923) and Gdynia (1925) and the establishment, on the initiative of ZLP members, of the Air Communication Company "Aero" , which organized air transport between Poznań and Warsaw (1925). At the end of 1929, ZLP was forced to resign from its extensive activities for organizational and economic reasons and reorganize union. Some ZLP members continued their activities within the Wielkopolska Pilots Club .
