ARTIFACT: This is an early World War II United States Navy sweetheart necklace with a locket shaped like a heart. The necklace comes in its original box, and has a small anchor on its front.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Locket: approximately 5/8" by 7/8"; chain about 14" in length (including clasp); box: 2-3/8" by 3-3/8" by 1/2"..

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, velvet, cardboard box.

ATTACHMENT: Decorative clasp on chain; hinge on locket; two piece box.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy sweetheart collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LEJX10/13 SEJX2/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The locket and box have some light wear only.
