ARTIFACT: This is an early WWII German Luftwaffe wrist compass.

VINTAGE: Circa early WWII.

SIZE: Compass has 2-7/16" diameter and 13/16" height; length of compass including buckle is approximately 9-1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bakelite compass containing water with leather wristband.

ATTACHMENT: Leather wristband with nickel-plated brass buckle.

MARKINGS: Maker's mark at center of compass: INSTRUMENTENFABRIK PRAG KAOLEC; reverse of compass lists specifications in German (see photo above for close-up).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJX04 LBCEX7/10 SBCEX4/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Compass and band both have spots of light to medium wear but overall are in wonderful shape.
