ARTIFACT: This is a United States Air Service officer collar insignia from early World War I. The design of the insignia is a wing, torch and two crossed flags.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated and lacquered brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with tongue-style catch; solid rivets attachments for wing.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia has some light wear and a nice tarnish.
