ARTIFACT: This is an elaborately carved circa early 20th century Chinese dragon in rosewood with bone and glass inserts composing the teeth and eyes. The dragon appears to be meant as a decorative holder, perhaps for a pen, brush or quill: there is a narrow opening centered upon the ridge of its back. The dragon is about fourteen inches long and has lovely detailing.

VINTAGE: Circa early 20th century.

SIZE: Approximately 4" in height and 14" in length and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Rosewood, bone and glass inserts.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Chinese antiques collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. SHOP MBEX13 LCEJX6/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The dragon has only some light wear.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
