ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1980s pilot hat badge for Republic Airlines, which operated out of St. Paul, Minnesota from 1972 until 1986. The company originally began as Wisconsin Central in 1948, and later became North Central Airlines before merging with another company (Southern Airways) and changing its name to Republic Airlines. The badge has a blue Canada goose at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has some light wear only.
