ARTIFACT:
This is a circa early 1980s vintage promotional T-shirt from Eastern Airlines for their "Some Like It Hot!" advertising campaign. The unisex shirt reads "Some Like It Hot! Hot Prices. Hot Places. Florida and the Caribbean. EASTERN". The front of the shirt shows a totally '80s scene of a girl in a swimsuit with some of the trademark bright colors from that era. Also shown is the old Eastern plane logo. The shirt is short-sleeved and has a ribbed crewneck with plain sleeves and hem.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1980s.
SIZE:
Size Large: approximately 18" (armpit to armpit), 8" from shoulder seam to end of cuff, 16" across back shoulder to shoulder and about 26-1/2" from base of collar to hem.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
50% cotton, 50% polyester.
ATTACHMENT:
