ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 92nd Tactical Fighter Squadron, a NATO unit. The patch is German-made and embroidered upon yellow cotton. It shows the profile of a skull shooting orange lightning bolts from its eye socket and mouth.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 3-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
