ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1970's pilot wing 1st issue for Hughes Air West, which flew out of Las Vegas, Nevada from 1969 until 1980. The airline was acquired by Republic Airlines. The badge is by O. C. Tanner of Salt Lake City, Utah and has three diamonds on a slight diagonal at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1970's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-backs, single screw post.

MARKINGS: CTO?? STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX12 LABEX2/13 SAJEX9/16

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light to medium wear and tarnish.
