ARTIFACT: This is an early 1970s wing for Toa Domestic Airlines, a Japanese company that resulted from a merger in 1971 and then changed its name to Japan Air System in 1988. The wing is in bullion and shows two sidewise gulls at the center of a laurel wreath.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 3-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered with bullion threads and treated paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX00 LAAEX5/11 SHI/BDX12/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing is in very nice shape with two small spots of wear on the front, and a few more on the edge of the backing.
