ARTIFACT: This is an early 1960s United Airlines lapel pin in sterling silver for one year of service. The pin is by Balfour and is a winged red, white and blue enameled crest upon a propeller.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in height and 7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STER-B (Balfour).

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX98 LFEX6/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear and tarnish.
