ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1960s Frontier Airlines cap badge. The Denver-based Frontier was founded in 1950 as a result of the merger of three companies (Arizona Airways, Challenger Airlines and Monarch Airlines). The badge has a great green enameled bird at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1960s.

SIZE: About 2" x 2-1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass with enamel detail.

ATTACHMENT: Double posts with covered clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: None.
