ARTIFACT: This is an early 1950s jacket patch for the United States Air Force Western Air Defense Force (WADF) Team Alpha. The patch is shaped like a pennant and reads WADF A embroidered upon blue twill.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJX97 LDEX7/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear and soiling.
