ARTIFACT: This is an early 1950s Northwest Airlines pilot hat badge 2nd Issue. The badge is a medallion reading NWA at center flanked by a pair of wings.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 3-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and washer with two stabilizer pins.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LCFJX2/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light wear and tarnish with one small scuff to the enamel.
