ARTIFACT: This is an Allegheny Airlines Ground Crew hat badge from the 1950's. I believe it is from right after the name change from All American Airways in 1953.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950's.

SIZE: About 1-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass with black enameling, brass nut.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilization post (stabilization post slightly bent).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VGJL00 LAIEX SAGJX9/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge shows minor to moderate wear, the stabilizer pin is bent, much of the enamel details remain intact.
