ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1920's Los Angeles County, California Special Deputy Sheriff badge. It is numbered W237 on the front and has a Los Angeles Rubber Stamp Company maker mark on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1920's.

SIZE: About 1-3/4" wide by 2" high.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a "c" catch.

MARKINGS: W237 on front; LA RUB. STP. CO. mark on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Western and Lawmen badge collection, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJJX05 LDEFX SLDEEX8/15 SDEJX1/16

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The badge has some moderate wear and tarnishing, and a small die flaw stress crack at 11:00, by the "L" to the edge.
