ARTIFACT: This is a 1937 American Motorcycle Association "Gypsy Tour" lapel pin. Gypsy Tours officially began in 1917 under the Federation of American Motorcyclists, and were fun outings where bikers would travel great distances toward a common rendezvous point. The AMA took over the Gypsy Tours in 1925.

VINTAGE: Circa 1937.

SIZE: About 1/4" in width by 1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS: ROBBINS CO ATTLEBORO.
