ARTIFACT: 1775-76 dated, Revolutionary War, United Kingdom hanger from a Connecticut estate. This wonderful sword features a wire wrapped grip, silver hilt, grooved pommel, and single edge blade.

VINTAGE: Circa 1775-76

SIZE: Approximately 29 ??" in total length; Blade 23 ??" x 1"; Grip 4"; Pommel 2"; Hilt 3 ??" wide at throat.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, silver.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The sword shows moderate wear, overall oxidation and handsome patina.
