ARTIFACT: Cool vintage 1967 "TV SQUARES" Square Dance television game show contestant badge. The badge is shaped like a television and depicts a young couple square dancing and reads: "TV SQUARES", below it looks as if the television is on channel #8, or this could have been the contestant's number. The base of the badge shows the contestant name: "WAD HARDY", Mr. Wad Hardy is from Rye, New Hampshire. The reverse shows the date and time of the audition/show "JUN (N is crossed out) L 6 – 1967 4 – 30 PM and above it reads: "BEACON BADGE CO. 257 EAST AVE. PAWTUCKET, R. I."

SIZE: Approximately 2 ½" x 2 ½"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, paper, steel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch.
