ARTIFACT: This is a cool vintage 1950s Pembroke, New Hampshire fireman's dress hat with badge number 5 on the front. The hat is a size 6 7/8 and has a union label inside. Pembroke is located in the Granite State's Merrimack County.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Size 6 7/8" badge: 2-1/8" square.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, leather, brass, silk, plastic metal; badge: plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Chinstrap; single screw post with disc backing on badge.

MARKINGS: 6 7/8 tag; union label.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The hat has only a few small spots of light wear, one on the visor at one near the top.
