ARTIFACT: This is a cool World War I United States Navy seaplane propeller hub. The wooden hub is numbered 626 and has two nice US with anchor marks. Its eight bolt holes are filled with 1917 dated bullet shells. Wonderful condition!

VINTAGE: Circa World War I .

SIZE: Approximately 7-1/4" in height by 15" in length and 4-1/8" in depth (not including bullet shells).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, brass.

ATTACHMENT: Bolt holes.

MARKINGS: 626 USN US with anchor marks; U.S.C.CO. 17 on shells (some also have a month number- before the 17).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI USN seaplane collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months.  CON-RLB-BEX14 LBDEX5/14 SeRCCJX03/20

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The hub shows only some light wear.
