ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1950s safe driver award lapel pin for the Yellow Cab of Baltimore, Maryland. The Yellow Cab Company, of which there are many offshoots, started in 1914 in Chicago. The pin has a large enameled Yellow Cab on the front.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height and 3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Yellow Cab taxi item collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM14 LHEX3/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has little wear and only some minor tarnish.
