ARTIFACT:
Cool 1940’s – 50’s vintage Veuve Clicquot Champagne advertising pin/tip/ash tray by Limoges, France. The center of the tray reads: “V. CLICQUOT. P. WERLE” and shows a shooting star. The surrounding edge reads: “CHAMPAGNE VEUVE CLICQUOT PONSARDIN REIMS” and some of the gold edging detail remains. The reverse shows a nice maker’s mark and reads: “B & Co. LIMOGES FRANCE”, “J. BERNARDAUD & Co. LIMOGES MADE IN FRANCE”.
