ARTIFACT: Cool 1920's Spindale, North Carolina fire department badge #8. The top of the badge features a fireman's helmet and horn in nice raised detail. The center of the badge bears the number "8" in raised detail and surround it reads: "SPINDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT".

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickeled nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with 'C' catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PBJX16 LAAEX5/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, light verdigris, nearly all of the plating details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
