ARTIFACT: This is a Cold War era – 1950s celluloid arm badge for the New York Civil Defense Auxiliary Police. The badge has a white triangle at its center bearing the letters "CD" in red in Art Deco script.

VINTAGE: Circa Cold War era – 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/8" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid with nickel-plated brass eyelets and hardware and elasticized cord.

ATTACHMENT: Elasticized cord through two eyelets.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Badge has overall light wear with spots of discoloration on reverse.
