ARTIFACT: Rare, classic WWII United States Army Air Forces 327th Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb Group, 8th Air Force Alley Oop comic character. The English-made jacket patch that shows a tyrannosaurus rex carrying artillery under each arm and is embroidered in red, yellow, and green detail. A cave-man like character is riding on the rex's back and wielding artillery.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately About 5"e; in width by 5-1/2"e; in height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, cotton/polyester/silk thread, backed with canvas

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-EIH-25-16 LGFEX4/16 SGFEX01/17

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The patch shows moderate to heavy wear, soiling and small areas of moth nips, was removed from clothing, very minor wear to thread.
