ARTIFACT: This is a British Airways (BA) flight attendant half wing in bullion from the late 1970s. British Airways (BA) started in 1974, when two other airlines, British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways Corporation (BEA) merged. The wing shows a red, white and blue crest at its center that is topped by a golden crown.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 2-5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads with cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
