ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 509th Bombardment Wing. The patch is embroidered upon olive drab twill and reads DEFENSOR VINDEX (Defender - Avenger).

VINTAGE: Circa 1970's.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered cotton/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The patch has some light wear.
