ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 509th Bombardment Wing. The patch is embroidered upon light blue twill and reads DEFENSOR VINDEX (Defender-Avenger).

VINTAGE: Circa 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 3-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered cotton/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear.
