ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970 jacket patch for the United States Air Force 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the "Wolfhounds". The 32nd was part of the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), and was stationed at Soesterberg Air Force Base, making this group the sole squadron to be commanded by a foreign power (the Royal Netherlands Air Force). They flew F-4 Phantom IIs. This patch shows a bloodthirsty wolfhound beneath a crown.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester/silk threads, Velcro backing.

ATTACHMENT: Velcro backing.

MARKINGS: None.
