ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1960's United States Navy identification badge for the Naval Air Test Facility (NATF) at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lakehurst, New Jersey. Now known as Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, NAS Lakehurst was the site of the Hindenburg zeppelin disaster in 1937. The NATF was started in 1958. The badge is numbered 77 and was made by Bastian Brothers.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted tin.

ATTACHMENT: Pocket clip.

MARKINGS: BASTIAN BROS. ROCHESTER N.Y. on clip.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and one minor spot of discoloration.
