ARTIFACT: This is a 1960's jacket patch for the F-106 Dart. The United States Air Force used the Dart as its go-to interceptor aircraft from the 1960's through the 1980's. The blue twill patch shows three of the aircraft shooting above the cloud line. The patch has a merrowed edge.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/8" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in multi-colored cotton/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force jacket patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX05 LDEX2/11 SDEX11/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light to medium wear, especially along its edge, and a couple of small areas of very light discoloration.
