ARTIFACT: This is a 1953 - 1955 lapel pin by Balfour for five years of service with Delta Airlines. This pin would have issued during the time when the company was operating as Delta, Chicago, & Southern. The pin is a petite wing in 10 karat gold with a red enameled center and was made by Balfour.

VINTAGE: Circa 1953 - 1955.

SIZE: Approximately 5/16" in height x 1-1/8" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10 karat gold with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: B maker mark (Balfour) 10K.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a domestic airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCAL4/99 LAAEX6/11 SLAGEX12/19/22

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin shows some very light wear only.
