ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950 pilot wing by Greenduck for Wisconsin Central Airlines, which flew from 1946 until 1952 when it became North Central Airlines (and later merged with Southern Airways to become Republic Airlines).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, painted areas, brass backing.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: GREEN DUCK Co, CHICAGO, maker/union marks.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The wing shows areas of light to medium wear and tarnish.
