ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950 lapel pin for the Flight Engineer International Association (FEIA), which was formed in 1948 upon receipt of an international charter from the A.F. of L. The war and all the technological advances that it brought had demonstrated the value of the emerging flight engineer profession. The pin is a winged aircraft motor bearing the enameled letters FEIA.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950.

SIZE: Approximately 7/16" in height and 7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filed brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: 1/10 10K.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin shows very light wear.
