ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1946-1947 wing for the Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). The wing shows a shield with three flags, one each from Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and an arial-style lettering which helps to date the wing. SAS is now known as Scandinavian Airlines.

VINTAGE: Circa 1946-1947.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" height and 3-1/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T pin with sleeved "C" catch.

MARKINGS: C. C. SPORRONG & CO. STOCKHOLM.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay RONCJx9/95 LCFJX11/10

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Badge shows light wear and tarnish; enamel is missing in a few areas.
