ARTIFACT: This is a Plaistow, New Hampshire Fire Police badge dating from the 1930's. The center of the badge is slightly convex and shows the State Seal of New Hampshire and reads: "STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE". The badge is topped with a spread winged eagle with a bowed head and below it reads: "FIRE POLICE PLAISTOW N.H.".

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: About 1-7/8" in width by 2-3/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass with black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with a drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: "CG BRAXMAR 216 E 45 ST NY"

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear mostly to high points and heavy wear to the word: "FIRE", much of the plating and painted details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
