ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1915 Borden's Malted Milk glass-labeled soda fountain display jar. Borden began producing dairy items in Connecticut as early as 1857. The jar has a domed metal lid with "Borden's" embossed on either side, and a white and blue glass rectangular panel on its front that reads "Borden's THE IMPROVED MALTED MILK".

VINTAGE: Circa 1915.

SIZE: Approximately 8-3/4" in height (with lid on) and 6-7/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass label on glass, metal.

ATTACHMENT: Removable cover.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a dairy advertising collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. SHOP VBGEX97 LFJJX4/13 SDEJX5/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The jar shows only very light wear, with some dings in the cover knob and a small area of discoloration on the cover itself. It has some great bubbles and mold lines (these are not cracks).
