ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910s police badge from Mineral Springs, Texas. Mineral Springs was a stop on the Texas, Sabine Valley, and Northwestern Railway from 1888 until around 1910. The badge was made by C.D. Reese of New York and has a maker mark plate on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS: C.D. REESE 57 WARRREN ST. NEW YORK.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some all-over medium wear and tarnishing.
