ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900 Union Liquid Metal Polish can from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The can has a red, white and blue label listing usage directions and other Union specialties. When the can is shaken, hardened remnants rattle about inside.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 2-7/16" in diameter (at base).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Aluminum with printed paper label.

ATTACHMENT: Screw-on cap.

MARKINGS: MANUFACTURED BY THE UNION MANUFACTURING CO. UNION WHARF PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE, U.S.A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Portsmouth, New Hampshire collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX03 LDJX2/11 SDJX10/13

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The can is heavily rusted but the label is entirely intact, if faded.
