ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900 "Tin Star" "Stock" police badge. The badge is lightweight and in the shape of a Six Point Star. It is possible it was worn by a small Police department, or it might even be a Toy Badge. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/16" in height x 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated tin with a nickel plated steel safety pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCX98 LHEX8/10 SLAAEX12/25/24

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Badge has seen moderate wear especially at edges and has a few slight indentations.
