ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful circa 1900 fireman's grave marker, most likely from the Biddeford (Maine) Fireman's Relief Association (BFRA). The marker is in painted cast iron. The round top of the marker is bordered with a thick fire hose.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 24-1/2" in height by 5-5/8" in width and about 7/8" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted cast iron.

ATTACHMENT: Spike; bracket on reverse.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The marker has some areas of light to medium wear and tarnish.
