ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s button from the Brooklyn & New York Ferry Company, which ran a ferry between Manhattan and Brooklyn starting in the late nineteenth century. The button has a great ferry chugging along at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Loop.

MARKINGS: WATERBURY BUTTON CO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an ocean liner/nautical collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX96 LFJX4/11 SeHJX12/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The button has some light wear and tarnish.
