ARTIFACT: This is a 1890's - 1900's Riverside, Kansas Constable Number 1 circle star badge that was found after excavation. The badge reads CONSTABLE RIVERSIDE TOWNSHIP and shows a five-pointed star within a circle bearing "No. 1".

VINTAGE: 1890s - 1900s.

SIZE: 2-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with painted letters.

ATTACHMENT: Pin is missing.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Western police badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RONRABEV7/92 LGEJX 6/10 SLAHGEX07/21

CONDITION: 5 (Fine-): Badge shows wear and heavy oxidation from being underground; pin is missing.
