ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa 1890s or early 1900s "sap" police club. It is made of leather, lead and spring steel. This sap came to us along with a circa 1880s police billy club made of lignum vitae that is for sale separately (please see link at bottom of page for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s-1900s.

SIZE: Approximately 9-1/8" in length and 1" in diameter (at thickest end).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, lead and spring steel.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX13 LAAEX4/13 SAAEX5/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The club has some spots of wear and the seams are a bit split on one end.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
